| Segesta belongs to everybody in the Western World. It is the cradle of our | ||||||
| civilization and culture |

| It was founded before Christianity and therefore embraces all creeds, races, and |
||||||
| countries, to enhance goodwill internationalism and peace. The site of Segesta is perfectly placed in undulating countryside and beautiful |
||||||
| calm scenery. This is no accident as the Greeks had the knowledge and ability of |
||||||
| geomancy. All this would be ruined and lost if the intended project similar to Mt. Rushmore |
||||||
| (by placing huge effigies of the Pope, Mother Theresa and Padre Pio on the rocks |
||||||
| overlooking the valley with the intention of attracting thousands of pilgrims to this |
||||||
| site) is allowed to proceed. They call it the "Mistycal Park" but it appears to be just a |
||||||
| philistinic venture, lacking aesthetic sensitivity and understanding of our history and |
||||||
| inheritance. | ||||||
| We therefore plead to all
civilized people to do their utmost to abort this ridiculous idea. |
